MY STORY

Brooklyn Lee is a filmmaker and actor hailing from the small town of Norphlet, Arkansas.

Her passion for storytelling was sparked at an early age through performances at her local community theater, where she also discovered a love for filmmaking during its annual film festival.

Brooklyn earned dual BFAs in Film & Television and Performing Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design, and she has since gone on to create award-winning films. Her projects have received notable recognition, including the “Best of Fest – Audience Favorite Award” at the 2018 El Dorado Film Festival and “Best Kid Flix” at the 2019 Twister Alley Film Festival for her film Bingo Night. Furthering her education, she earned an MA in Art Teacher Education from Southern Arkansas University and spent three years teaching art at the elementary level, fostering her dedication to creativity and the arts.

She went on to run her own production company, Blue Pixie Productions, LLC, where she creates content for commercials, social media, and short films. Alongside her creative work, she is an executive assistant for Squared Away, providing administrative support, graphic design, and content creation for busy professionals and entrepreneurs.

When she's not behind the camera, Brooklyn enjoys traveling with her husband, binge-watching Netflix, and catching up on sleep.
